Thank you for taking the time to look at my jewelry line, Bellaposa Collections. Every piece is personally handmade by me. Many pieces have been inspired by my family and close friends. The line is “few” of a kind. This means that the jewelry is NOT mass produced. I make anywhere from 1-10 of each piece. I number each piece I make, much like an artist numbers his work. For example, you might see on the tag “2 of 10″. This means your piece is the 2nd of 10 total that will ever be made! This uniqueness, my attention to detail and the amount of thought I put into making each piece all come together to create jewelry you will love to wear. You can be sure that you have a truly unique piece of jewelry when you purchase from Bellaposa Collections.
Bellaposa started about a decade ago when my best friend, Gayle Russell, and I started making jewelry for fun in high school. We continued to make jewelry through the years, including pieces for Gayle’s wedding. Gayle and I opened an event planning business (N-joY! Weddings & Events) where we offer jewelry design as a service. This allowed me to continue making jewelry for special events. All along the way, I still made “every day” jewelry for myself and started to get a lot of requests from friends and family. I started to think that maybe I could do the every day jewelry as more than just a hobby. I brought a few samples to a good friend of mine, Angelle Delaune, who owns a local boutique. She said she loved it all, thought it was very well made, and that it would appeal to many women. A few meetings with Angelle, lots of phone calls and emails to Gayle, and many, many hours of designing and making jewelry and now I have Bellaposa Collections!
MAJOR thanks to Gayle for doing ALL my branding/graphics. She did an amazing job and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for help with branding or promotional products. She has also been there every step of the way and has been my rock through this process. I have no clue what I would do without her. Also, to Megan Weatherford for designing this beautiful website. She worked so hard and did a great job of creating exactly what I wanted. Of course, Angelle, for all her guidance and advice along the way. Another one of my best friends, Claire Delaune, for helping me get started with some amazing books to explain the jewelry selling business. One of the books has been my bible through this process. She also is the one who takes all the beautiful pictures you see on the website and the Facebook page. All my amazing family and friends for being so supportive. My mom, Ritza, and my boyfriend, Brent, for pushing me along the way to follow my heart. I never would have pursued this dream without their unwavering support!
